2. Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we may collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in and the information you include in your message. Our hosting systems may also create technical security logs, such as the date and time of a request and basic connection information.
Please do not use the website form to send payroll files, bank details, National Insurance numbers, UTRs or other sensitive payroll records. We will agree a more appropriate transfer method if they are needed.
3. How and why we use information
We use enquiry information to:
- read, manage and respond to your message;
- understand the service you may need;
- take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
- keep appropriate records of business communications; and
- protect the website and our systems from misuse.
Depending on the circumstances, we rely on taking steps before a contract, our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, or a legal obligation. We do not use contact-form details for unrelated marketing unless we have an appropriate basis to do so.
5. How long we keep information
We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage any follow-up, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal or regulatory requirements. The period depends on the nature of the enquiry, whether it leads to a client relationship and whether information is needed for an ongoing issue or legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we delete or securely dispose of it.
6. Security
We use organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online service is completely risk-free, so please use the contact form only for a general initial enquiry.
7. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis being used, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to receive certain information in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object to our use of your personal information. We will consider your request and stop unless there are compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the information is needed for legal claims.
Contact us using the details below to exercise a right. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for current contact details and guidance. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
